Drone Inspection Surveys
Arrange an elevated perspective with a drone survey
Our experienced RICS-qualified surveyors have spent years carrying out Level 2 and Level 3 surveys across a wide variety of property types.
Now, with our optional drone survey inspections, you can gain an even clearer understanding of your property’s condition.
Using high-resolution aerial imaging, our drones capture and analyse hard-to-reach areas such as roofs, chimneys, and guttering — places that are often difficult or unsafe to inspect manually.
This advanced technology enables us to spot potential issues early, including water pooling, moss growth, damaged roofing felt, or structural defects.
With this enhanced insight, you can move forward with complete confidence in the true condition and value of your potential new home.

How Our Drone Survey Inspections Work
Our drone survey inspections are available as an optional add-on to our RICS Level 2 and will come as standard with our Level 3 Home Surveys. We highly recommend including one, as it provides a more detailed and accurate assessment of the property’s overall condition.
During the inspection, our CAA-licensed surveyors use advanced drones and flight planning software to safely and legally capture high-resolution images of the roof and other elevated or inaccessible areas. These images are then carefully reviewed and incorporated into your RICS survey report, providing you with clear visual evidence and expert analysis.
This process ensures every inspection adds genuine value — helping you make informed decisions, minimise risk, and buy with confidence.
By offering a unique aerial perspective, our drone surveys uncover issues that are often missed during traditional inspections, such as:
- Water pooling on flat roofs
- Damaged or missing tiles and slates
- Moss, lichen, or vegetation growth
- Cracked or deteriorating chimney stacks
- General deterioration not visible from the ground
- Faulty flashing or roof felt
- Blocked or broken gutters and downpipes
- Parapet wall damage or decay
- Wear and tear on complex or hard-to-access roofs
- Problems with valley roofs or hidden channels
With this enhanced level of insight, you’ll gain a complete and accurate picture of the property’s condition — giving you peace of mind before you commit to your purchase.
Benefits of a Drone Survey Inspection
A drone survey inspection provides a much clearer, more detailed view of areas that are high up or difficult to access from the ground. When combined with expert analysis from an experienced RICS surveyor, you’ll gain deeper insight into the property’s condition — often more than the current owner knows.
